Return Policy

1. Introduction

This Return Policy explains your right to withdraw from a distance or off-premises contract, how to return products, and how refunds are processed. It applies to purchases made by consumers from Lyxtherofriz via the website lyxtherofriz.ddd.

Our details:

This policy is based on Finnish and EU consumer law, including the Finnish Consumer Protection Act and the Directive on consumer rights (2011/83/EU). Your statutory rights are not limited by this policy.

2. Right of withdrawal (consumer only)

If you are a consumer (i.e. you are acting for purposes outside your trade, business, craft, or profession), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier) acquire physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. by post, email, or phone). You may use the model withdrawal form provided by the European Commission or any other clear statement. Our contact details are above. If you use our email or phone, we will send you an acknowledgment of receipt without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.

3. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed to bear that cost or unless we have failed to inform you that you must bear the cost.

4. Condition of returned goods

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. In other words, you may unpack and inspect the product as you would in a shop; we cannot charge you for normal use during the withdrawal period. If the product has been used beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and functioning, we may deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value from the reimbursement, or we may require you to pay that amount. We will inform you of any such deduction and the basis for it.

5. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

Under EU and Finnish law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to, among others:

If you have agreed to the start of performance during the withdrawal period (e.g. we begin processing your order immediately), you may still withdraw but you must pay for services performed until the time you informed us of the withdrawal.

6. Defective or non-conforming goods

If the product is defective or does not conform to the contract (e.g. wrong product, damaged, or not as described), your rights are governed by the Finnish Act on the Sale of Consumer Goods and the Consumer Protection Act. You may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or rescission of the contract, depending on the nature of the defect. You must inform us of the defect within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered it. We will not charge you for return shipping in the case of defective or non-conforming goods; we will arrange return or reimburse your return costs where required by law.

7. How to return

To return a product:

  1. Contact us using the details above to inform us of your withdrawal or return request and to receive return instructions (e.g. return address, any reference number).
  2. Pack the product securely, preferably in its original packaging if possible, to avoid damage in transit.
  3. Send the product to the address we provide. We recommend using a trackable delivery method and keeping proof of posting.
  4. If the product is defective, include a short description of the defect and, if possible, photos.

We will confirm receipt of the returned product and will process the refund in accordance with section 3. If you have any questions about returns, please contact us.

8. Refund timing

Refunds will be made without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of (a) our receipt of the returned goods, or (b) your provision of evidence that you have sent the goods back, or (c) our confirmation that you need not return the goods (e.g. in case of defective goods where we waive return). The refund will be credited to the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few additional days for the refund to appear in your account.

9. Business customers

If you are not a consumer (e.g. you are ordering in the course of your business), the statutory right of withdrawal under consumer law does not apply. Returns and refunds may be agreed on a case-by-case basis or under separate terms. Please contact us to discuss.
